Vietnam Opens 41 New Entry Points for e-Visa Holders

Vietnam has expanded its list of entry points for travelers using the electronic visa (e-Visa), adding 41 new locations. This brings the total number of eligible international checkpoints to 83, offering visitors more options to enter and exit the country.

The update was officially announced in Resolution No. 389/NQ-CP on December 2, 2025, as part of the government’s plan to improve accessibility and support Vietnam’s tourism development strategy.

These new checkpoints include international airports, land border gates with China, Laos, and Cambodia, as well as many seaports across the country.
